Herbal Infusion

Herbal infusions or tisanes have always been popular. After all, sticking leaves in hot water is pretty much Tea 101.
Many herbs and herbal teas are promoted for their beneficial effects on various ailments and conditions; hardly a week goes by without a new 'wonder-cure'/'super-food'/'detox' appearing on shelves (and pieces of slate). In fact in England, Camellia sinensis (tea) was originally taken as a medicine.
It goes without saying that if you're pregnant (or are under the doc for anything) caution should be exercised with herbal decoctions.
