Central American Coffee
Costa Rica is the main and best known coffee produced in Central America, but you really must try all of them, they do all taste different.
El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and although not technically Central America, we have included Mexico.
Most of these coffees are suitable for dark roasting and will make a very good espresso, they will however also make a wonderful cafetiere or pour through.
'La Roya' a coffee rust fungus is decimating significant amount of coffee trees on Finca's throughout Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. All three countries have declared National Emergencies.
