We first blended this tea a few years ago and called it Saint Valentine’s Tea as we felt it complimented out Saint Clement’s Tea, however Helen feels that Sweetheart Tea has a better ring to it and pointed out that you could drink it all the year round and not just on February 14th. It really is a beautifully tasting cup of tea, full but very gentle and with a fantastic aroma. We have blended a high-grade traditional China Rose black tea with our exceedingly popular Chocolate Flavoured black tea, this has then been hand-mixed with the very lovely Violet Scented black tea and Wild Black Cherry tea. We then added some whole Red Rose Buds to really give it that special Valentine feel and simply sprinkled the ensemble with Blue Butterfly Pea Flowers. I allowed the dried leaves and flowers to gently stir together for four minutes in water that had been freshly boiled. I drank mine without the addition of any milk or sugar and felt that this wonderfully aromatic brew needed nothing else. My sweetheart thought it was lovely, so all is well...
