Originating from Paraguay, it is well known for its beneficial properties. Made from the inner bark of the Purple Lapacho tree; they suffer no damage from the bark removal and are said to live up to 700 years! North American Universities keen to find new “wonder drugs” have expressed high interest in Lapacho due to its success in improving immune function, detoxification and pain reduction. It is said to be an antioxidant, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitical, anti-inflammatory and anti-yeast. Vanilla is the fruit pod of an Orchid and this, with the slices of orange and pieces of orange peel, makes for a fantastic combination.
I brewed this fabulous tisane at 100oC for five minutes, naturally adjust for personal taste.
