Made from the inner bark of the Purple Lapacho tree; they suffer no damage from the bark removal and are said to live up to 700 years! The phloem – cambium layer is high in calcium, iron, potassium, strontium, barium, iodine and boron. North American Universities keen to find new “wonder drugs” have expressed high interest in Lapacho due to its success in improving immune function, detoxification and pain reduction.
