Assam Mangalam 2nd Flush Broken Pekoe Souchong Loose Leaf Black Tea Inexpensive Quality

BPS stands for Broken Pekoe Souchong, this is a crop from just before the main growing season. Souchong leaves are slightly older and larger than the typical Orange Pekoe plucking. This gives the resulting brew a strong, ‘spicy’ full-bodied taste with a dark mahogany colour and quite heavily scented, beautifully refreshing. The ideal breakfast tea.
