Originating from Paraguay, it is well known for its beneficial properties. Made from the inner bark of the Purple Lapacho tree; they suffer no damage from the bark removal and are said to live up to 700 years! The phloem – cambium layer is high in calcium, iron, potassium, strontium, barium, iodine and boron. North American Universities keen to find new “wonder drugs” have expressed high interest in Lapacho due to its success in improving immune function, detoxification and pain reduction. It is said to be an antioxidant, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasitical, anti-inflammatory and anti-yeast. The pieces of dried orange peel and lemongrass makes for a fantastic combination. If you don't fancy a Flavoured Lapacho, we also have it 'neat'

I brewed this fabulous tisane at 100oC for five minutes, naturally adjust for personal taste and feel free to add fresh orange or lemon slices
