Lapsang Souchong Chinese Loose Leaf Black Tea World Famous Traditional Smoked Tea

  •  The Chinese Lapsang Souchong was 'the' tea to be drunk in the 1870's. It was raced back to Britain and America on the famous Clippers 'Cutty Sark' and the 'Flying Cloud'.
  • Withering the leaves over open fires of pine needles produces Lapsang Souchong. This smoked tea drinks well with salty and spicy dishes as well as tasting wonderful when drunk black, with a good cheese.
  • The tea does not taste how you would imagine a smoky tea would taste and actually has a very delicate flavour.
  • You will receive 95 grams of tea for £5.00 this will allow you to make at least 42 cups of tea. Two grams per cup works out at less than twelve pence per cup.
  • At Gently Stirred every order is gift wrapped so if you're buying for a number of different people just add that information at checkout.
