I love ginger, so I suppose I am slightly biased, but you must give this tea a try, not least of all it is fantastically healthy for you. It consists of just pieces of dried ginger root making this a stunning, intense, and distinct flavour experience. According to BBC Good Food “Ginger tea is great to drink when you feel a cold coming on. It is a diaphoretic tea, meaning that it will warm you from the inside and promote perspiration. It is also good when you don't have a cold and just want to warm up!” Ginger also soothes the digestive system and is taken against nausea. Plus, ginger just tastes great. This is a super tea, prepare in the usual way for herbal teas, use boiling water and steep for five minutes.
Ginger has also been linked with helping with Alzheimer’s, if full of antioxidants, boosting metabolism, possible helping with cancer, diabetes, infections, menstrual cramps, and possibly help with weight loss. So pretty much an all-round wonder tea.
It goes without saying that if you're pregnant (or are under the doc for anything) caution should be exercised with herbal decoctions.
