Yunnan Pu Erh Grade 1 Loose Leaf Black Tea Very Healthy Tea Said To Help With Weight Loss

The Pu Erh Prefecture in Yunnan province is famous within and without China for both it's health-giving teas and its horses. Tea has been grown there since the Shang and Zhou Dynasties (1066 BC–221 BC). Teas from Yunnan are referred to as one of China's 'Noble' varieties. A tea tree planted on Mountain Nannuo 800 years ago is still growing. A wild tree found in 1961 on Mountain Dahei is 32.1 m high and is over 1700 years old and still produces quality tea leaves. Pu Erh teas are drunk not just for their wonderful taste but also for the health giving properties. This Grade 1 tea has a particularly long leaf almost like a Formosan Oolong. The taste is similar to a slightly smoky or 'earthy' Oolong. Pu'er is commonly paired with chrysanthemum flower and the blend is referred to as guk pou.
