Firstly, may I just say, I didn’t name this tea. It was offered to us by one of our German suppliers, who was listing it as “Hexenhäuschen”. Apparently, this in Germany is a unilateral name for a spooky looking, wonky, wooden, witches house found in the middle of your typical Bavarian Forest. I was also, reliably informed by this German supplier, and I quote “Our Hexenhäuschen should not be missing in any well-stocked Christmas assortment” so who am I to argue. I must confess to often buying unusual teas and coffees just because of the name, judging by how they sell, I guess lots of our customer do too. This blend contains, 60% Black Tea, Cinnamon Pieces, Cardamon Seeds, Ginger Pieces, Whole Coriander, Natural Flavour, Cloves, Pink Peppercorns, Aniseed, and Mallow Blossoms. I suppose I might have named it Hansel and Gretel Tea, which I must confess, seems to have a better ring to it.
