This wonderful Rooibos, Redbush or Massai Tea contains a minimum of 79% top-grade South African Rooibos plus Cinnamon, Cloves, Red Peppercorns, pieces of Ginger, and Cardamom. Prepare it in the same way as one would a traditional tea, (although it can be ‘stewed’ for hours making a syrup to which hot water is then added.) Rooibos is high in antioxidants, well known for reducing the effects of ageing.
It is caffeine free and low in tannin giving it a mild taste. This is a stunning smelling tisane, I could just sit here smelling the wonderful concoction, not even needing to drink it. It has a lovely sweet spicy flavour.
To prepare this tisane use boiling water and infuse for between two and four minutes depending on personal taste.
