We used to have this tea in stock years ago, possibly over ten years ago, I had almost forgotten about it until I came across its availability from a new source. Usually, Indonesian tea from Java and Sumatra are used for blending in tea bags, the dry climate encourages all year round plucking. There are just a few estates in Sumatra that produce orthodox leaves, and this is definitely the best known even if almost impossible to find. I’m glad to welcome it back into our range a worthy addition, inexpensive and strong, ideal for someone who enjoys tea with milk. Indonesia has started to produce more green tea than black and accounts for approximately 10% of world tea production, unfortunately a case of quantity rather than quality, still we have sourced a good one for you.
