This wonderful Rooibos, Redbush or Massai Tea consists of top-grade South African Rooibos min 65.5%, Ginger pieces, Pumpkin, Cinnamon, Cloves, natural aroma, and Cornflowers. Rooibos comes from a specific area of South Africa, the Cederberg Mountains and Wilderness area, approximately 300Km north of Cape Town. In 2019 Rooibos tea was awarded ‘Protected Designation of Origen Geographical Indicator’ status by the European Union. This means that Rooibos tea can now carry PDO (Protected Designation of Origen) and PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) labels. Prepare it in the same way as one would a traditional tea but brew it for slightly longer. It is caffeine free and low in tannin giving it a mild sweet taste. This is a stunning smelling tisane and exceptionally healthy.
