It is the dried roots of Glycyrrhiza glabra that give this quality Chinese Black Tea its unusual flavour. Either you like liquorice or you don’t. So, you will either love this tea or you won’t!
Flavoured teas are often drunk as a cold infusion that may well taste quite nice as the pure Liquorice root tea that we sell tastes better cold than hot.
To make a cold infusion use the normal amount of tea used to make a hot cup, about 2 grams per person, add cold fresh water and then leave to steep overnight in the fridge.
Usually one would not add milk to a flavoured tea but to be honest it is personal taste.
