A delightful Peruvian coffee from high up on the eastern slope of the Andes mountains, in the jungle of Oxapampa Province. Finca Rosenheim is found in the Villa Rica district Villa Rica town, the capital of the district was founded in 1928 by German and Austrian settlers from the town of Pozuzo, also in Oxapampa. Villa Rica has been a coffee growing area since 1928. The cherries are hand-picked and processed on the Finca. The sun-dried beans are stored in their parchment for at least three months to rest them, then they are hulled to remove the skins. This coffee is decaffeinated in Germany using the CO2 process, retaining the spiciness and full-bodied flavour.
