Uganda Drugar AA Natural Process Dark Roasted Whole Beans Fantastic Coffee

£3.50

Drugar stands for DRied UGanda ARabica and refers to Natural processed coffee from the Rwenzori Mountains on the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The mountain range is also called the 'Mountains of the Moon' and are so high they are home to many glaciers. Ugandan coffee exports are three times greater than their oil exports and account for 19% of the country's foreign earnings. Coffee growing supports just under 3 million workers roughly 8% of the country. Much of the coffee grown in Uganda is Robusta but small amounts of high quality Arabica are starting to appear. This dark roasted coffee has a sweet taste and decent body, similar to some Sumatran and Indonesian coffees. I absolutely loved this inexpensive coffee, great value and great taste.

You will receive 100 grams of these roasted beans for £5.00 this will allow you to make between 20 and 40 cups of coffee, depending on cup size. Five grams per cup, the quantity of coffee used will be quite personal so these are guidelines only. This works out at between twenty-five pence and twelve pence per cup. We also sell larger quantities of this coffee at a more economical rate, the price per cup will therefore be lower.
