Decaffeinated Tea

The decaffeination process of our teas leaves no residual taste and should render it indistinguishable from 'normal' tea. 
In this section of teas, we've kept it to 'traditional' Camellia sinensis type teas as we obviously sell a lot of caffeine free Tisanes.
Caffeine is a poison produced by the plant to help deter pests that like to eat it, the higher up a plant grown the less pest there are and so the plant produces less caffeine.
High grown teas, and indeed high grown coffees, both contain much less caffeine than lower grown crops. The more inaccessible the plants the less pests there are.
