Yunnan Special White Leaf Tea Fantastic Taste and Flavour Much Sought After Limited Availability

  • A new tea for us and quite a rarity, a White Tea from the southern province of Yunnan!
  • Grown in Tea Gardens in altitudes between 1,300 and 2,000 meters, with average temperatures varying between 12 to 23 degrees Centigrade.
  • This lovely white tea is made from the plucked tips of the slightly larger leaved variety of Camellia sinensis and wilted slightly, then dried with warm breezes out in the open, with the drying leaves being regularly turned.
  • The brew, which I made with hot not boiling water, is a very pale amber; the taste is lovely and fresh, with little astringency.
  • The Yunnan Special White Leaf tea has a complex character with a satisfying aftertaste.
  • You will receive 40 grams of tea for £5.00 this will allow you to make 20 cups of tea. Two grams per cup, each cup infused three times. This is between 25p and less than nine pence per cup!
  • At Gently Stirred every order is gift wrapped so if you're buying for a number of different people just add that information at checkout
