The Finca La Aurora plantation is in Huatulco, on the Pacific coast of Oaxaca Mexico. Huatulco, which translates as the ‘Place where wood is worshipped’, in Oaxaca which is pronounced Wa-ha-ca, has fantastic soil conditions, the farm is located near the basin of the Copalita river. This ecological position combined with the ocean breeze and natural shade trees creates an exclusive environment for growing of perfect coffee beans. Finca La Aurora have chosen a minimum use of agrochemicals and use their own manual wet mill for ensuring a carefully washed bean.
This SHG bean comes from between 1200 and 1600 metres above sea level and is a Bourbon Arabica. There is a wonderful depth to this coffee, with the accentuation on the deeper, richer notes. This Finca La Aurora has a smooth body with a chocolate sweetness.
You will receive 100 grams of these roasted beans for £5.00 this will allow you to make between 20 and 40 cups of coffee, depending on cup size. Five grams per Cafetière, the quantity of coffee used will be quite personal so these are guidelines only. This works out at between twenty-five pence and thirteen pence per cup.
