This late harvest Finca Santa Clara is wonderfully sublime, the farm is almost a permanent feature in the final rounds of the Cup of Excellence. The fourth-generation owner, Ricardo Zelaya is a founding member of APCA, Genuine Antigua Coffee Producers Association. The 100% shade grown Bourbon cherries are hand-picked and processed in their own eco-friendly traditional mill. The distinctively blue-green coloured beans are then sun dried on patios. Finca Santa Clara is found on the southern slopes of the Antigua valley, between 1,600 and 1,839 metres, the volcanic soil and ideal climate help make Genuine Antigua coffee some of the best in the world.
