This is a fine quality Orange Pekoe leaf tea from Ceylon and China. We blended this wonderful tea with a subtle combination of small pieces of cinnamon bark and small chunks of dried ginger root. We then added red Safflowers and Redcurrants and of course to give that real Christmas feel, whole Cloves. As a festivity blend this has probably got everything in it to help get you in that Noel frame of mind. Being a Ceylon based tea it will happily take milk although personally I prefer it without. A slice of orange or seasonal kumquat would make a lovely addition. Obviously home-made mince pies would be the perfect accompaniment to our delightful brew and I think a cup left out for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, along with the mince pies and carrots for the reindeer would ensure that you get the presents you deserve.
