I am delighted to add another green Darjeeling to our ever-growing list of teas. This lovely brew is a wonderful addition, my first infusion was for only a minute and a half and was superbly delicate, my second, I gave a full three minutes to and is was as strong and full-bodied as a green tea needs to be but without any bitterness. Depending on how long you steep this for it would be a winner for all lovers of green tea. We have had it's 'sister', black FTGFOP Nagri for a great many years and it has always been popular so when the opportunity came to try the green version you can see why I was unable to resist.
Interestingly since 11th November 2016, 'Darjeeling' now has a Protected Geographical Indication, which protects consumers from imitations, however it only applies to fermented teas, so accurately this is not a Darjeeling, Pish-posh I say, complete balderdash.
You will receive 55 grams of this tea for £5.00 this will allow you to make a between 27 cups and 81 cups of tea. Two grams per cup, this works out at between eighteen pence and six pence per cup when re-infused. We also sell larger quantities of this tea at a more economical rate; the price will therefore be lower.
