Costa Rica Volcán Azul Red Honey Geisha Rare Whole Bean Coffee

This remarkable coffee comes from the West Valley of Costa Rica. An area famed for its complex microclimates which contribute to the high percentage of Cup of Excellence winners. The Volcán Azul farm produces micro-batches of cultivars, such as Caturra, Geisha, Villasarchi, Sarchimor and Venezia. The red or yellow cherries are hand-picked, once they are felt to be perfectly ripe and then either washed, left unwashed (natural) or honey processed (semi-washed). Geisha is well known for being re-discovered in Boquete, Panama, from plants originating near Gesha, Ethiopia, but this may well be a first for Costa Rica. The specific plantation this coffee comes from is over 1500 metres above sea level and is a limited exclusive selection showing the unique qualities of this bean.

This is currently our most expensive coffee and is very special.

You will receive 30 grams of these roasted beans for £5.00 this will allow you to make between 6 and 12 cups of coffee. Five grams per cup, the quantity of coffee used will be quite personal so these are guidelines only.
