Brazilian Daterra Pearl Whole Coffee Bean Organic Rainforest Alliance Peaberry


      These Peaberry beans from Bourbon and Typica Arabica cherries are grown in the sub-tropical regions of the Cerrado (State of Minas Gerais) and of the Mogiana (State of Sao Paulo).
      Daterra has divided its plantations into 216 mini-farms, each between 5 and 15 hectares, demarcated by coffee variety. As well all the plantations are certified Organic and Rainforest Alliance, dedicated to the conservation of tropical forests. The small round bean filled with intense sweet aromatics, distinctive nuttiness with a hint of soft fruit; soft but distinctive. Its aroma is fruity and sweet, its flavour is nutty and fruity and it holds a rich velvet crema. These cherries are semi-washed or as it is popularly referred to, Honey Processed, this is what helps give it the extra sweetness.
      You will receive 90 grams of these roasted beans for £5.00 this will allow you to make between 18 and 36 cups of coffee depending on cup size. Five grams per cup, the quantity of coffee used will be quite personal so these are guidelines only. This works out at between twenty-seven pence and fourteen pence per cup, which I am sure you will agree is a small price to pay for something so special. We also sell larger quantities for a greater discount.
